Wood Plus Moisture Barrier & Damp Proof Membrane (DPM)
Protect your flooring investment with the Wood Plus Water Vapour Barrier, a high-performance damp proof membrane designed to prevent moisture from rising through concrete subfloors. Suitable for use beneath SPC flooring, laminate flooring, engineered wood flooring and solid wood flooring, it provides an essential layer of protection that helps maximise the lifespan and performance of your floor.
When used alongside a quality underlay with built-in moisture protection, this vapour barrier creates an effective defence against ground moisture, helping to reduce the risk of swelling, warping and other moisture-related damage.
Manufactured from durable, puncture-resistant polythene, the membrane is also fully compatible with underfloor heating systems. Supplied in a convenient multi-fold pack, it can be installed as an oversite membrane between a compacted hardcore base and concrete slab, or as a sandwich membrane between concrete and screed.
Installation Guide

Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and free from debris.

Unroll the vapour barrier across the entire floor area.

Overlap all joints by at least 200mm (20cm) and seal if required.

Extend the membrane 25mm (2.5cm) up the perimeter walls before fitting skirting boards.

Trim any excess material with a sharp knife or heavy-duty shears once the flooring installation is complete.

When Will My Order Ship?

All orders are delivered via a pallet network and are kerbside delivery only. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to accept your order.

How to Request a Return
To request a return, please contact us within the 14-day return period with your name, order number and details of the items you wish to return.
Please do not return any goods until your return has been confirmed and you have received the relevant return instructions.
Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and suitable for resale.
Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of the goods to us. Original delivery charges and return transport costs may not be refundable, except where required by law.
Special-order and non-stock items are non-refundable, unless faulty or otherwise required by law.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
